Oluyomi Taiwo Adejumo , nearly sixty is a born and bred Nigerian and also a Canadian immigrant living in both countries. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in English in 1984, her Law degree and the Bar by 1990 from prestigious universities in Nigeria , the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, University of Lagos, Akoaka and the Nigerian Bar Council, Lagos. She speaks English fluently and Yoruba.

 

She holds a certified diploma in interiors and floral art. Other certificates in leadership, counselling and entrepreneurial studies have aided her knowledge base.

 

Her entrepreneurial spirit and pursuits, thrust her to become an Interiors Design Consultant and floral decorator under Handikraft Creative Design Limited and Grandeur Events in the past 30 plus years. Her extensive experience and passion in this field birthed Harris Phillips, a vocational and life skills learning centre to help creative youths embark on self-employment and livelihood through enterprise.

 

Her legal knowledge, spiritual insights  and apostolic calling in the marketplace and society at large avail Kingdom dominion and manifestation teachings in ethics and values reorientation at work using biblical truths and life experiences.  Entrepreneurial start-ups, Customer Service, Road Maps to Succeed as a female single parent are other topics that she is passionate about as a speaker/facilitator.

 

She coaches and mentors all particularly widows and youths on evolving into the person of purpose and impact God created them to be. Grief and marriage counselling, balanced family life, holistic well-being and creating your own happiness are major topics she is gifted in speaking about during therapy sessions. A reason why she is presently in an MBA Leadership (Coaching and Mentoring) course in the United Kingdom.

 

Hospitality Hub, an online entity houses Quiet Pools Inn, Chef’s Academy, Lydo’s Kitchen, Bar & Grill and Grandeur Events businesses focused on hotel and event management.

 

All of the above sum up her versatile, highly motivated, passionate, diligent and hardworking personality in business.

 

She worked very briefly as a lawyer with Rotimi Williams & Co Solicitors and then became a homemaker in the eighties when she started Handikraft Creative Design Limited in 1990 which consults internationally.

 

Harris Phillips Educational Foundation (HP Life Skills) was birthed in 2009, a Nigerian non-governmental initiative-led learning and training organization and social enterprise, targeted at coaching entrepreneurs on value exchange, business structure and succession plans. To harness societal re-engineering, welfare and care for others, she birthed a boutique hospitality brand; Quiet Pools Inn, both businesses located in Ikeja, Lagos.

 

‘Lady T’ as she is fondly tagged by several people believes it is key to equip and impact all, especially the Elites to become useful ‘change agents’ in their society. They hold a key role in nation-building in the light of a suffering world divided by wealth access and inequalities. The Elitist Shift Foundation, (T.E.S.F) is a ‘Life and Transformation platform for the Elites mind-shift and values reorientation with a slogan “Awake. Reset. Rebuild.”

 

Additionally, her involvement in trade resource structure for start-up businesses in the building industry and retail market fuels her interest in applying learned principles to solve problems, seeking to maximize functionality and efficiency in the building and design sector where excellent skills are lacking.
